Abstract: The 21 century is a time/century that human beings are in pursuit of sustainable development and undertaking sustainable planning and design. It is proposed, particularly since the 18thCPC National Congress, to build an ecologically civilized beautiful China.
在我國，動物園在國家行業分類中被列入城市公園綠地的范圍，是屬於城市公園的一個類型。
As a type of urban park, zoo (zoological garden) is included in the range of urban park in the our country』s instry classification.
動物園行業沒有正式的開展過展示設計的總結和研究工作，長期以來，規劃、設計工作完全依靠社會上的建築設計和園林設計單位來進行，這些設計單位對野生動物圈養需求知之甚少，使之根本無法滿足一個要求不斷發展創新的動物園的需要。本文以濟南市動物園建設為案例，結合大量的資料，圖片，科學，系統，詳細地研究了動物園的歷史與發展，動物園規劃設計中的選址原則、規劃理念，總體規劃，分區規劃，動物館舍建築，動物品種規劃，展覽程序安排，自然式館舍及生態展示，綠化規劃，道路設施規劃等與實踐領域結合緊密的諸方面，並取得了一定的階段性成果。
The zoological instry has never officially carried out any work on design-displaying summary and research, the planning and design have for long depended entirely on the social architectural and landscape design enterprises who know very little about the needs forcaptive breedingof wild animals, which result in a situation that it does not meet the requirements of continuously developing and innovating zoos. Taking the construction of Ji'nan Zoological Garden as the study case and based on a large number of data and pictures, this paper made a scientific, systematic and detailed study of the history and development of zoological gardens, and the aspects in zoological garden planning such as the site selection principle, planning concept, overall planning, zonal planning, construction of animal houses, animal species planning, exhibition procere arrangement, natural lodge and ecological display, greening, road planning etc. which have close ties with practices, and has made somegraalachievements.
該論文填補了國內動物園規劃設計方面的研究空白，為現代動物園的設計師，投資方，行政主管部門提供理論依據，將對我國現代動物園的建設、發展與管理起到一定的促進和拋磚引玉的作用。
This paper supplied the gap in planning and design of modernzoological gardensin China, and provided the designers, investors and administrative departments with a theoretical basis for such modern zoological gardens. It is believed that this paper will play a role in promoting and inspiring the construction, development and management of China's modern zoos.
