實際上，魔戒只是托爾金那個虛構世界中很小的一部分，無論從時間跨度還是人物劇情都只是很小的一部分，在魔戒故事之前還有大量可歌可泣的神話和傳說
以下這分資料來ulia，又得到了Darkmage的更正，他們2人在研究托爾金的世界中都深有心得，也很有名氣
PS 大陸只翻譯出版A類的1，3，4，而且翻譯質量非常差，稍微了解托爾金世界的人都紛紛抵制譯林出版社翻譯的這些作品，但C類的前5卷可以在一些大城市找到英文版的書

這個，要我我也不樂意。拍不好就是毀了人家父子兩代的心血
C. 托爾金的小說都是與魔戒有關系的嗎
不完全是
有的比如說《羅弗蘭登》《布里斯先生》是童話
《精靈寶鑽》之類的是中土歷史
《霍比特人》是誘使作者創造《魔戒》的原因
但是《貝奧武夫》什麼的則是他身為牛津語言學教授創作的學術性文章（好像不是小說啊）
D. J·R·R·托爾金的小說還有哪部可能被改編成電影
精靈寶鑽！！！不過據說1969年托爾金把《霍比特人》和《指環王》電影及回周邊版權進行了出答售，但是因為改編以及其他商業活動無法控制，所以托爾金家族不會再把 任何 一部托爾金的小說進行授權去拍攝電影，游戲，周邊。所以《霍比特人》將會是電影屏幕上能看到的最後一部托爾金作品。以後《指環王》和《霍比特人》可能會被翻拍，但不會有新的小說改編成電影。

鄙人非常不了解情況，只能說托老的作品應該不是一般小說網站會放上去的。
G. 托爾金所有著作
托爾金的中土神話卷帙浩瀚，不過能當作小說讀並的不多。其中最出名的就是《魔戒》《霍比特人》《精靈寶鑽》《胡林的兒女》
《霍比特人》易於理解，且所涉及的中土神話背景不深，可以先看它。並且此書也第一本出版的中土神話作品。
《魔戒》是《霍比特人》續作，文風深沉、嚴肅、厚重，待你對中土神話有了興趣再看。
《精靈寶鑽》是中土神話的總綱，內含很深刻的哲學思考，最好最後再讀。雖然它解釋了許多《魔戒》里的疑團。
《胡林的兒女》來自於寶鑽內的一篇悲劇故事。如果你對中土神話有著更濃厚的興趣，可以考慮閱讀它。
H. 《指環王》算侵權嗎
改編一部小說成電影肯定是要經過小說原作者的同意的，如果私自篡改肯定會侵犯的對方的著作權。
不過對於此類經典的作品，我想肯定得到過原作者的授權，不然還可以拍到第三部么？呵呵
I. 托爾金小說適合小學生看嗎
土耳其的小說是不適合小學生看的，因為小學生的知識還有些他還不能深刻領會其中的意義。
