B. 美国科技公司为什么要反对SOPA（《禁止网络盗版法案》）
SOPA是Stop Online Privacy Act的缩写，即《禁止网络盗版法案》。其立法目的是“通过打击侵犯美国知识产权行为而推动市场繁荣、企业家精神和创新”。该法案让美国司法部可以通过寻求法院传票来关停有盗版内容的网站、阻止相关的付款渠道。这个非常致命，你可能因为在YouTube上传了一段带有企业标识的视频，而导致YouTube全站关停。
SOPA的支持者主要包括制造内容的版权公司，比如电影公司、电视台、音乐公司、出版社、有线网络，还包括消费品牌产品如耐克、NBA、制药公司以及工会。他们是盗版的最大受害者。反对这项法案主要是开放的网络公司/组织，尤其是基于用户生成内容（UGC）的Web 2.0网站：Google、Facebook、Amazon、Twitter、YouTube、eBay、维基网络等。
首先，它会扼杀一部分言论自由。比如上文提到的：你可能因为在YouTube上传了一段带有企业标识的视频，而导致YouTube全站关停；或者你在亚马逊直接粘贴一篇《纽约时报》专栏作者写的书评，也有可能导致亚马逊被关站，并关闭支付渠道。这意味着所有网站都要小心翼翼地做事前审查，对用户言论逐一核实之后才能放行。中国人对这个最熟悉。
再次，SOPA涉嫌侵犯公民隐私。对于G+这样的网站来说，很多用户信息只在有限的朋友圈内传播，如果要保证用户信息不侵权，势必要事先审查。——而这部分信息只在有限的人群中共享，站方查阅有涉嫌侵犯公民隐私之嫌。
SOPA实际上构筑了一个美国版长城防火墙，用户们小心翼翼上传内容，网站们一条一条审查完信息之后再放出来，盗版没有了，但创新也被扼杀。一夜回到印刷机时代。

拥有数十亿美元身价的知名网络业投资人Mark Cuban（马克·库班）日前严词批评近来备受欢迎的视频共享网站YouTube，表示只有“白痴”才会收购这家公司。
身兼HDNet共同创始人和美国职篮NBA达拉斯小牛队老板的Cuban还说，YouTube最后会因为“侵犯著作权”被“告到消失”。
他对一群纽约广告商表示：“他们就是违法，而他们至今尚未被告的唯一原因是无人有足够的财力兴讼。”
总部位于加州圣马提欧的YouTube为全球各地网友提供一个便利的视频共享平台，每天都有上亿部视频通过其网站播放。这种受欢迎的程度引发市场人士猜测，该公司可能会公开出售或将股票上市。
但使用者经常上传有版权的内容，包括知名艺人的音乐录影带，也让YouTube承受庞大的检查压力。该公司的代表尚未回应Cuban的批评。
Cuban表示，由于可能的著作权官司，“任何想买YouTube的人一定是白痴。”他说：“他们还没（股票）上市是有原因的，他们还没卖出去，这是因为他们大难临头。”Cuban过去曾将新创公司卖给雅虎和CompuServe。

Cuban提醒广告商，不要花太多钱在YouTube或其他影片分享网站上进行所谓的病毒式营销。但他极力推荐在高画质电视节目上打广告，例如他创设的HDNet电视网。
Cuban认为广告商花在病毒式营销的预算99%都是“浪费”。他说：“如果这么困难，病毒式营销有何意义？它既难规划，又难引起注意，你们这些人就是喜欢当前锋。”
G. 怎么能在海外看国内的电视剧
美国很多华人选择iTalkBB，打电话尤其是国际长途比较便宜，但中文电视这块嘛，内容确实有点少，只有60个左右的电视频道，而且没有电影和体育频道，也没有点播功能，每月要额外收取10美元左右的月租，性价比实在不高。
2 麒麟电视
麒麟电视是专门针对海外华人的中文电视运营商，覆盖区域比iTalkBB广一点，包括了北美和东南亚，频道上增加了TVB等香港台，但是依旧没有电影、体育等频道和电视直播功能，价格和iTalkBB差不多，性价比不高。
3 TVPAD
TVPAD号称海外华人电视盒子，功能宣传上向国内的OTT电视盒子看齐，但实际产品质量和操控上却相差太远，内容是自带的一些app，也兼容一些第三方的app，实际内容上因为没有得到国内视频网站的授权，所以要比国内电视盒子少的多，而且每年还以软件升级的名义收取年费。
4 国内的OTT电视盒子和C+路由器
以小米、华为为代表的国产OTT电视盒子做工优良、操控简便，海量的电影电视剧，电视频道涵盖央视卫视所有频道，综艺直播、各类网剧、卡通动漫，还可以听音乐、K歌，幼儿早教等等，内容丰富而且还可以通过沙发管家自由安装第三方软件，想看什么看什么，当然，在国外还要配一个C+路由器，才能无限制使用，流畅观看国内的电影电视直播节目。
