未來的電腦
我長大之後要當一名科學家，發明一台既簡便、功能又多的專無線電腦。
它的顯示屬屏是一個滑稽可愛的眼鏡，它的滑鼠是一枚卡通戒指，而鍵盤是一塊類似巧克力的東西。當然，它可以是各種各樣的圖案，只要你把圖案畫下來，放進我發明的小盒子里，一小時後，一台既方便多用又讓你非常喜歡的小電腦就完工了。這台電腦還有一個特點：它從來都不用充電，因為在滑鼠、顯示屏、鍵盤的裡面都有一個多功能太陽能光片，只需在你不用的時候，把它放在窗檯上，讓它吸收陽光或月光就行了。對了，我這個電腦還附有一個拇指大的U盤，如果你有喜歡和需要的照片、音樂或文件，就可以隨時發到U盤里，你就擁有了一些新文件了。這樣的電腦有誰不喜歡呢？
我希望我發明的電腦能給以後的人們帶來方便。

計算機的程序仍然是外加式的，存儲容量也太小，尚未完全具備現代計算機的主要特徵。 新的重大突破是由數學家馮·諾伊曼領導的設計小組完成的。1945年3月他們發表了一個全新的存儲程序式通用電子計算機方案—電子離散變數自動計算機(EDVAC)。隨後於1946年6月，馮·諾伊曼等人提出了更為完善的設計報告《電子計算機裝置邏輯結構初探》。同年7～8月間，他們又在莫爾學院為美國和英國二十多個機構的專家講授了專門課程《電子計算機設計的理論和技術》，推動了存儲程序式計算機的設計與製造。開始有了現代計算機-電腦。

Computers of this generation could only perform single task, and they had no operating system.As a result of the various improvements to the development of the computer we have seen the computer being used in all areas of life. It is a very useful tool that will continue to experience new development as time passes.
