（1）神既然選擇創造我們，我們在他眼中是寶貴的；
《聖經》告訴我們神是創造者，一位大有奇妙能力的神，當上帝造亞當時，他就在人鼻孔里吹一口氣，使他成為有靈的活人。
人不只是機遇的產物，而是神所設計和奇妙地造出來的。沒有神，人就不能知道或達成他被設計和受造的目的。更主要的是《聖經》告訴我們：人是按著神的形像受造的。
（2）我們比動物更有價值
《創世紀》1:26-27：「神說，我們要照著我們的形像，按著我們的樣式造人，使他們管理海里的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜，和全地、並地上所爬的一切昆蟲。神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著他的形像造男造女。」
《聖經》解釋，因為神是個靈；人是用靈造的。神是萬有的主宰，所以人的受造不同於動物，而且遠遠勝過它們。
神視人是極寶貴的，賦予人生命的尊嚴和價值。
