科學家，是一個不平凡的職業。像愛因斯坦、伽利略、牛頓那樣的科學家，對科學界有很大的影響。我十分佩服他們，因此，我想做一個天文科學家，在火星上發現生物，觀察遙遠的星球，到真空的宇宙探索……
我一天天地長大，學的知識一天天多起來。我了解了「唐太宗、劉備、康熙……」這些偉大的人物，這使我學會了許多做人的道理。成功，是努力、堅持、天賦組成的，所以我又創出這樣一條公式：實現理想=努力+堅持+天賦。一個人如果有了理想，有從小培訓的天賦，努力不懈地去實現，失敗了，繼續堅持，那麼理想才會實現。
我從書本上知道，有生命的星球必須有以下條件：1、有堅硬的外殼； 2、有生物生存的適當的溫度 ；3、有適當的大氣（大部分是氧氣）； 4、有足夠的水； 5、這也必須是一顆行星，圍繞著的中心天體必須是一顆穩定的中年恆星。生命存在的條件是非常苛刻的。我曾經痴迷地想像：「火星上會不會有生物呢？有生物的星球是怎樣的呢？會不會是……」我很想揭開這個迷，因此，我很想做一個天文科學家，去發現人類的另外一個家園，去解答宇宙的不解之迷。
我當然知道做一個天文科學家並不容易，要有很高的學歷，有很強的求知慾、想像性，還要有一種不怕困難、失敗的精神。 「一個小孩想當天文科學家，未免太天真了吧！」不錯，聽起來的確很天真，但我深信，「只要有恆心，鐵柱磨成針」。
為了實現這個理想，我花了不少努力。我購買了《神奇的地球》、《宇宙的奧秘》、《宇宙之迷》……每一本書我都把它讀熟透，吸取裡面所有的知識。有一次，我從中午開始讀書，覺得讀了不久，爸爸就叫我下去吃飯了。我十分奇怪，望望屋外面，原來已經是黃昏了。我每天就是這樣吸收各個方面的知識，使我的理想與現實不斷縮短距離。
我不斷在生活中吸取經驗、知識。在學習上，我認真聽課，積極發言；在表演時，我積極當一個小主持；在辯論時，發表自己的意見、理論……等到長大的時候，我將運用這些知識，爭取做一個科學家。
「泉水挑不幹，知識學不完」，但只要你肯學，再多的知識你也能學到手。「海闊憑魚躍，天高任鳥飛」我就像一條魚，在廣闊的前途海洋里自由自在地游，選擇哪一條前途，是由我自己選擇的。但在這個前途海洋，不能全無風波，但我充滿信心，我有信心沖破各個難關，去追求我的理想，實現我的理想，為祖國爭光！
